Justin Timberlake to Design a Line of Home Goods

Justin Timberlake has partnered with his longtime friend and interior decorator Estee Stanley in order to create a line of home goods, accessories and art for HomeMint. The collection will be available exclusively online starting this May.
At 31, Justin Timberlake is a super-talented singer, actor and fashion designer. Well, in addition to his impressive resume, Timberlake will design a collection of home decor goods for HomeMint. Justin will make the special line together with his own interior designer, Estee Stanley.

In an exclusive interview with Elle Decor, the pop star explained the reasons for creating this line.
"Well, this was really a collaboration with Estee. I don’t think I would do it if we weren’t in it together. We’ve known each other for a long time and have worked together on my homes — we really have a like-minded vision for design so when BeachMint [the company behind HomeMint and sister sites StyleMint and BeautyMint] came to us with the opportunity, it felt like a really natural thing for us to do together. Estee and I are great friends, so it’s a lot of fun," he said.

In a statement, Justin Timberlake admitted that, "HomeMint combines my love of architecture and interior design with my passion for technology and social media to create a brand that offers aspirational designs for the home at accessible prices."

BeachMint CEO Josh Berman said that, "We’re excited to bring an affordable luxury home collection to our customers that combines Estee’s extraordinary portfolio of work and design experience with Justin’s impeccable aesthetic and sense of style." President Diego Berdakin added that, "HomeMint is a natural addition to our family of brands. Jason Wu has teamed up with famous home furnishings brand Canvas in order to create a special, super-chic eight-piece collection featuring hand-dyed linen upholstery, metal casegoods, and hand-blown glass accessories.

"I wanted to mix the DNA of Jason Wu and Canvas together," Jason Wu says about his latest collection for the famous home furnishings brand. The renowned designer made a special eight-piece collection featuring hand-dyed linen upholstery, metal casegoods, and hand-blown glass accessories. "I’ve always loved the rustic, slightly worn style of Canvas and that element of an artisanal hand. It’s so inherently chic," Wu added.

Speaking about the collaboration, Wu, who created the collection together with Canvas’s founder, Andrew Corrie, told Vogue magazine that as designer you can use your imagination in so many different ways. "It feels like I’m just filling in the pieces of the puzzle," says Jason Wu of his new furniture line with Canvas. "I never thought of myself as being limited to fashion. I’m a designer and if you have a vision, you can apply that to anything."

One of the celebs that has just listed his home is fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld as the fashion genius has listed his New York apartment for a whopping $5.2 million.

The price however isn't the shocker here, but the interior design chosen for the exquisite home as opposed to his choice of sophisticated designs, Mr. Lagerfeld chose a very simple, minimal décor, one which probably offered him a sense of peace and serenity, just enough balance to keep the ideas regarding his fashion creations flowing.

The lovely apartment features soft lines, minimal furniture and peaceful colored walls with white being the predominant color option throughout the 3 bedroom apartment. The bathroom and the hardwood brown colored floors are the only ones that stray away from the color palette, the master bathroom featuring very light colored aqua-green tiles on the wall with beige travertine surrounding a classic style tub to relax in.

With a stunning view of Gremercy Park, the $5.2 million condo is difficult to resist, so if you've got a few mill just laying around, you can make this apartment your pride and joy. For this sum you'll get a large chef's kitchen complete with cherry wood cabinets, stainless steel countertops and high-quality appliances, a large master bedroom with a walk-in closet, office area, large master bathroom, a large living area, a third bedroom featuring its own bathroom, a powder room and a lovely view provided by floor-to-ceiling windows featuring electric window shades.
